This challenge was to write about an election, from the point of view of the winner or loser.

Doesn't really matter - only one election was what initially crossed everyone's mind. I'm sure of it.

This song is about losing, and not only to a man who would "skin a soul to pull the strings" and one who (metaphorically) "pulls the wings off flies." We lost to a man who is so powerful and has so many secrets and back room dealings that his agenda is perhaps to big to prevent. The song is about recognizing evil, even when others don't. Or don't want to.

19 votes was everything. And we lost.
